Esta postal corresponde a una pintura del artista bielorruso Apalinary Harauski, llamada "Evening in Minsk Guberniya". Harauski nació en la provincia de Minsk el 4 de Febrero de 1833, y fallece en St Petersburg, el 28 de Marzo de1900.
En 1850 ingresó en la Academia de las Artes de San Petersburgo, donde fue instruido por Fyodor Bruni y Mikhail Vorob'yov (1787-1855). Desde 1855 hasta 1860 trabajó en Dusseldorf, Alemania, con Andrey Achenbach (1815-1910) y luego en Suiza con Aleksandr Kalam (1810-1864).
